    Tuesday 12/3/13 went for $10 steak night, placed our orders at 7.40, by 8.15 we had to check on our meals when we received the response from them, "I noticed you ordered over 20 minutes ago but others have also had to wait over 40 minutes", but to our surprise they didn't even bother to check for us and never came back. At this point we had to request that a 7 year olds meal be brought out which we received in a couple of minutes. At 8.35 we asked again about our meals when the response came back it would still be another 5 minutes. At this point we decided enough was enough and that it doesn't take 50 minutes to cook a steak. The management then gives me the usual excuse that they were down to 1 chef and that's just the way it goes, no apology. When advising the management that their staff should advise patrons that there is a long wait would you like to order something else their response was," we can't be doing that to everyone." With temperatures in the mid 30's you should be prepared for a busy night. The management is happy to have 12 waiting staff for busy nights but not enough staff in the kitchen. Will never return and advise people to ask about wait times prior to being seated. Overall totally dissatisfied.

    don't even bother. An italian place that cant cook pastas. you're better off going to starzone in karingal and picking one of the restaurants there.

    Mothers Day & Tonight

    Hi Everyone,
    Me, Hubby & the Kids haven't been here for some time... not sure why?
    But for Mothers Day my Hubby treated me to a beautiful Lunch at Fratelli with the whole Family, out-laws & all.The Restaurant was so full with people & kids, the atmosphere was Electric. The Staff were wonderful, the Food Fantastic & considering the set booking times, we didnt feel rushed at all.I enjoyed it so much, we went there again tonight. The Restaurant was quiter & with the TV going over the Bar it felt like i was at Home having diner in front of the TV... a real Family enviroment.i'm not sure why some people don't feel the same way, But we love your restaurant and your food is STUNNING!!!!We'll certainly be back.

    If you know food, you know that their food is all pre-prepared. Things are de-frosted, taken out of bags, which is why the prices are so low for such a big meal. You'll get better food at a pub, but if you're happy to settle for standard food or less because its close by then eat here?

    Went with son and husband for lunch. We ordered fish,chips and salad. When my meal arrived it was disappointing in appearance. We told the staff who were apologetic. They just gave us a plate of chips with 2 skimpy fish pieces on it. It was the worst meal ever and we left it. The management did not offer any apology or discount. Last visit to this place.

    We went there for dinner tonight and ordered 5 meals .After a long wait two arrived followed by a third about 10 minutes after.Then the well done steak arrived dripping with blood and the medium one was seared on the outside.We sent ithemback & waited 20 more minutes until they arrived again .One was medium & the other still dripping with blood & this time no veggies.Told them to cancel the order for the well done steak as the children had now been waiting 75 minutes and they were tired We paid & left
    The wait staff were nice & very apologetic but the management was so rude as if it was our fault & the way they treated the staff was awful to watch
    DONT GO THERE Its next to Maccas & they are wayyyyyy better than the Fratellis dish up

    Service was bad!! Waited 1 1/2 for our meals before walking out. The management was rude not only to us but the 8 other tables that were extremely unhappy. Never going back n defiantly would NOT recommend.

    Well I have just come home from a mothers day lunch which was booked for 2pm for our big family of 16 I had my mother with me who is 76 and were not seated until 2.40pm one of the friendly staff members kindly said we could start sitting at our unlaid table, however the people are still sitting at the end of the table that should of left by now, so i took my mother over and sat down to which the people who were still sitting there advised that they had not had thier dessert as yet but decided to leave as they had waited long enough for thier dessert.
    I can honestly say i will never walk in this restuarant ever again the most of the staff were very friendly and polite however the meals were not nice at all, my brother who ordered the surf and turf stated that it had been microwaved, a few had parmagana which most of them did not like, i had a calamari salad which was not enjoyable at all.
    Make sure you check the receipt as we had a few drinks on the bill that were not ours.
    I found this restaurant appalling.
    The one star is for the wait staff that worked their butt off.
    Next mothers day i will make sure my mother enjoys it.

    We have been to Fratelli's resturant a few times in the past few years and the service and food quality went down hill in my opinion. The dessert was not even what I requested and seemed to be a bought defrosted replacement and was very dissapointing. We struggled to get served and ask for things. My very last time there was about two years ago where I was disgusted with our treatment. We were seated in the outside area, we ordered the lunchtime special. Knives and forks were just dumped on our table for us to arrange. Food was tastless, dessert was a thawed from frozen cheesecake that tasted like plastic.

    we have been coming here regularly for a cpl of years now,
    the service and some of the quality have gone down a little as birdman said. but there is now a new menu.
    we have done dinner as a family and also had lunch as just the wife and i {we did the sunday brekkie a few weeks ago - big brekkie was BIIIGGG and we didnt need lunch! )

    i agree with marclau that the tandori pizza is awesome !!
    food size is always very large and quite often we end up taking food home as there is too much for one sitting!
