Really rich, hearty, Italian food here. Absolutely delicious. Don't really go here for a light meal though as the best lunch dishes are the fresh pastas which you can't go past. Dark, sleek interiors as well. Can get pretty busy though especially if you go on the weekend so be prepared that you may have to wait for a table. Well worth it for the food though. Service could be improved though I must add.

This little piece of Italy in Potts Point ticks a lot of boxes. Whether you're grabbing a coffee and freshly-baked on-site pastry for breakfast, or sitting down for a delicious dining experience at night this place gets it right. The food is always fresh and the service is always brilliant. Once seated the quick-speaking, strongly-accented Italian waiter explains the blackboard menu. But, don't worry - if you are not an Italian speaker, he will happy answer any questions after his speedy spiel! The food here, like the staff is also authentically Italian but with a modern flair. The lasagne is one of the best I have ever tried and the lamb ragu is to die for. The sweet side of the blackboard menu is also superb, with delectable old favourites such as tiramisu and semifreddo making it impossible to skip dessert. It's cosmopolitan dining without the pretentiousness and price tag.

From great pastries to excellent pastas you find it all here...this is what a local should be all about. Love the great selection of Italian wines.

Had a great scrambled eggs here on the weekend with really nice pastry & roast tomato (liked that they asked whether I wanted one egg or two - though I didn't notice if one egg costs less).

Just like Cafechic I used to think the waiters here did good disdain but this time they were great, very helpful and welcoming.

Probably one of the best places for breakfast or lunch in Potts Point. They might only have a few select things on thier menu but these are all done really well. The service is also very good and this is great place for people watching.

The food here is really good and it's worthy of its reputation. Get there early though if you want to get a table. And be warned, the waiters can be a bit pompous.

Fratelli’s has a cosy café vibe. The Melbourne-style Italian restaurant where the menu’s scrawled on blackboards is simply delicious. Just ask for the specials if you want a change from the too-good pizza. You may be lucky and get the penne with duck ragout. If you miss out, the rich lasagne is always a good plan B.
