Hey everyone, I want to share my experience at Fred Shahed. I bought a Groupon deal (full head of foils) a few weeks ago. When I arrived there, no one greeted me or offered me a seat. One staff did offer me a coffee though, and he was the only one who provided good service. After 30 minutes wait, it was my turn. The hairdresser did not introduce itself and started applying bleach on my hair which the hairdresser left for one hour and a half. I asked what kind of product they were using and if it contained ammonia. The hairdresser was not sure, which I found a bit surprising.
After an hour and a half, someone washed my hair. At that time, the staff noticed that something was wrong and tried to alert the hairdresser without me noticing. But I did. I checked my hair and found that the colour looked more yellow than blonde and I told the hairdresser that it was different from what I asked for. The hairdresser tried to convince me otherwise despite the issue being quite obvious.
I complained about this to Fred and he initially proposed to fix it but I would have to pay 300$. In the end, they agreed to fix it for free and they applied again foils which means more damage to my hair. In the end, I left the salon after 4 hours with a result far from what I was expecting.
I am really disappointed in the service I received and the unprofessional attitude from the staff.
