Alas the $10 all you can eat is a thing of the past. But you can still get a good big meal here for about $12.50 including 2 choices and a mango lassi.

People like this place because of the ambience - it is a bit bare and has stuff written on the walls, funky and has funky staff. It's very much a Melbourne version of backpacker places you would find in India and Nepal. The food is pretty standard Indian fare, your usual butter chicken and stuff, with some slightly more exotic eg paneers. It's always a pleasant meal, possibly you would find better food in some other inexpensive places, North Indian Diners and stuff, but it's a cool place to hang out with friends. I always like places with weird loos and this one, down some stairs, is definitely weird. Quite a lot of vegetarian dishes and they are probably better than the meat dishes, though the meat is not bad quality.

It's in Bourke St just above Russell St, easy to get to by any Bourke St tram or you can walk down from Parliament station. Opens fairly late.

I dream about this food! Their ten dollar all you can eat dinner buffet is not only good value but delicious! You must try this!

This restaurant is situated in the perfect location for when you need dinner, and fast! The prices are cheap in the evenings, especially on Friday nights when you can get a plate of 3 currys, rice and naan for less than $10! However, as expected, when paying so little for an entire meal, the food is not the best. Yet, what more can you expect for an entire meal at this price!
