I found that this store is run like a fast food restaurant. They expect you to know exactly what you want, for you to queue up and simply "order" what you want. It is a bit arrogant of a computer store to have "counters" with a queue. They are not the only place these days that sell very cheap computer parts, so it's quite easy to look elsewhere.
Oh please. This is how computer stores should be run. Nothing is more annoying than going to places like MSY while noobs sit there any tyre kick stock.
If you don't know what you want, do some research. If you wanna shoot the breeze, go to Harvey Norman and get a sales rep.
If you know what you want and want it for a good price, go to places like GameDude.
this store gives a lot of problems to people who are not computer savvy. i've fixed a lot of my friends computers coming from gamedude. the store is just a huge advertising shop. i shopped their once and never again - customer service was the worst i've ever had. i bought an item (mediagate media player hard drive) paid them and then on the spot i found an error from the product to the product they listed on the site. they wanted to charge me restocking fee but i showed them their site in front of all the other customers and showed that they had an advertising error and i got my money refunded in full. few hours later i check online and they changed the listing error that i found ^^ it feels good to show how dodgy their store runs.
On price and range of stock Gamedude are tops. They always have the best or very close to the best price and it is so close to the competitors that its not worth the drive around. On the downside the service is not that flash and its a bit like being in a cattle run to get to the counter. Also all stock is behind the counter and if you are someone who likes to pick stuff up and touch before you buy, you are out of luck.
Purchased computer components and the pricing was good compared to other companies open and price list on the web. Appears to have a good cross section of components and systems. Easy to comfirm units and prices over the internet.
