    Its a great venue with superb views, and the seafood is fresh but its all very predictable and a bit boring. Nothing exciting on the menu, no real standout dish. Food all acceptably cooked, presented and served. But really nothing to write home (or anywhere else) about

    Amazing view, amazing food! Went with my sister for a weekday lunch. We didn't have a reservation, but were seated immediately. The one issue we did have arose early on after we decided what we each wanted - we closed our menus and waited for about ten minutes before anybody took any notice of us. I suppose I could have flagged down a waitress, but they were all so busy. Once one did notice us however, it all went smoothly from there. We ordered two mocktails, a fruit box and a virgin mojito (both very nice). Meals-wise I had the grilled salmon with sautéed confit potatoes, mushrooms, truss tomatoes & pea purée. Garfish has a blackboard special whereby you can select the type of fish fillet you want, how you want it cooked, and what accompaniment you would like with it. My sister stuck with the original main menu and selected the ocean trout and prawn ravioli with radish salad and shellfish bisque. Both dishes were presented beautifully, with generous servings. With two mocktails and two mains, the bill came to a reasonable $77 for a lovely meal and atmosphere. Will definitely come here again if I go to Manly for a nice meal or even to their Kirribilli restaurant.

    An amazing seafood based menu with creative, fresh opportunities. Genuinely one of the first times that everything on the menu had appeal and it took long to decide, so much so that I will be back in the not too distant future to try another few dishes!

    Portions are just the right size, food is full of flavour and the atmosphere is vibrant. Not quite the place for a romantic dinner as it gets quite noisy here, but if you like seafood and a nice wine selection, Garfish is the way to go.

    A friend recommended this place and I have to thank him for it. The staff were extremely friendly and even though we hadn't booked in advance they managed to squeeze us in. The food was excellent. I really liked the camera feature which allows you to watch the food being plated up in the kitchen...a nice little feature. This is not for people on a budget, but if you're wanting a go up market, then this is definitely recommended...

    Fabulous location and fantastic food. Great for brunch, lunch or dinner. Found the service to be excellent. No bookings in the evening can be quite annoying but having a drink in the lounge area or across at the Wharf Bar can solve that problem.
    Been there twice in the last month - will definitely be back

    WOW! A taste sensation. We had a great experience eating here and I would recommend it to any one wanting a special night out. I love the way that they set up the menu, only serve the freshest fish and the entre of crisp fried zucchini flowers that was fantastic.

    Only problem is that there are no bookings after 8 pm....but just enjoy a drink at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere,
