If you have a bad steak you're not at Garlands! Pork ribs are another house favorite slow cooked to fall off the bone and marinated in our own house-special BBQ sauce.     Mum & I went on a Scoopon voucher as we are new residents to the coast and are trying to find our way around via food. We had no idea what to expect from Garlands except that I cannot cook steak to save my life. So when we go out to eat we like to order a really great steak. Boy did we hit the jackpot with Garlands. What a fantastic find on the coast. Listen up big boys in restaurant steak land, because this place really knows their stuff when it comes to cooking a great steak.
    We both ordered the Eye Fillet and the meat was so tender and juicy, cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth like butter. Their supplier is very good. The sides of fries were an absolute treat. They were sweet and salty all at once and oh so crisp. Not one soggy chip in sight. We will be returning as full paying customers as soon as possible. BTW, the service was outstanding, very friendly and attentive with no request left unattended.
    Highly recommended.

    My partner and I love this restaurant we go there once every 2 weeks and have never had a bad experience. The food is always perfect especially their steaks and ribs. Service is also top notch the 2 waiters are great. Do yourself a favor and check it out thanks guys.

    I've always been a reluctant reviewer but I felt compelled to offer my Three Thumbs Up for Garlands Bar & Grill. From the welcoming staff, to the sumptuous food, delectable menul, awsome drinks, and the uber friendly and personable owner Ryan, I could not have been happier and I was definitely in "Hog Heaven." I'm devestated that I now have to pack my suitacase and go home to a town that does'nt have a Garlands Bar & Grill. Sob....

    This place is somewhat of a hidden gem. If it wasnt recommended to me by a friend I doubt I would think of going here for dinner. The restaurant inside is lovely and has a very large and beautiful fish tank in the centre of the room but from the outside its appearances isnt the best. The service was great we had a very vibrant young waiter who really did make our night more enjoyable. The food was fanatic, my husband had the 1kg rib and I had an eye fillet steak. My husband claimed his ribs were up there with the best ribs he has ever had if not the best. They fell off the bone, had heaps of flavor and there was next to no fat. My steak was flawless, it was cooked perfectly, tender and lets just say I have paid much more for steaks half as good as this. The only down side (very minor) I could have about the restaurant is it was a little quite inside which didnt help the atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be back with our friends next time.

    family outing was thoroughly enjoyed! The ribs were recommended our waiter and we were not disappointed! Best I/my wife have ever eaten! Kids had a blast with the pig costume! great show! will be back!

    I have to say I am a hard person to please when it comes to ordering a steak and ribs. I have tried many items off the menu and have always been impressed.

    The eye fillet I had the other night was in my top 3 of all time. It was perfectly cooked and juicy.

    This is a restaurant that I will always come back to as a safe option where you know the food and service are going to be good.
