    Oh yes - i had the misfortune of going to this place once - wanted an alpine head unit.

    they kept giving me excuses as to why it wasnt in stock for the next 4 days - supplier/courier/God Himself etc

    I rang the Head Office. He stated that they had some 'credit issues' with the supplier. Whatever.

    They offered me the demo unit on display for $20 less. As if.

    Finally the installation happens - the installer left 2 small dents in my dashboard when he removed the factory stereo - funny how they hand the car over in their dingy workshop and not in the daylight.

    My car comes with factory 11 speakers - tweeters/midrange and a sub.

    Some weeks after the install I noted that the balance works fine but the fader is completely not connected - all speakers are slaved to the front outputs only. What a dodgy example of workmanship. There is a reason that this company closed down.

    I tried calling their number the other day just to see if their workmanship had caught up with them - it appears they have changed all tehir phone numbers, or gone bust.
