WOW!! Dont know WHAT the person who recently wrote their review experienced but our experience last night was EXCELLENT! Starting with the service, wonderful and intimate. The owner took time to talk to us about their restaurant, how they came to be on Stanley street and a little bit of her and her husbands background. It was lovely. She was charming and attentive and we really felt looked after. Secondly and most important was the food, oh the food!!! Nothing quite like Argentine cuisine. The Morcilla was delicious and the garlic and chilli prawns were so fresh. I ordered the fillet with king prawns with 150g fillet, meat was ternder and succulent and again, prawns were super fresh. However I was MOST impressed by the amazing Chimmi Churri. I have ordered this in Sth American restaurants all over Sydney and it has always disappointed, but this was superb, hot and spicey and an excellent side for the fillet. My partner got the sirloin 350g and was blown away by the taste. Because the owner was so lovely (she even gave my partner a roll of Argentinian print ribbon when he admired it on the menu) we decided to have a glass of the Mendoza Malbec before leaving, you cant beat Malbec from Mendoza. We will definitely be returning and will be telling our friends all about it. Great authentic Argentine cusine tucked away nicely on the ambient street of Stanley.

Bad service, bad food, VERY over priced.
When I politely complained to them about my very unlean piece of fillet they simply said they'll change it, apologized and took it in. Next thing I know the ill-tempered management at my table, yelling, holding a gross HUGE raw entire fillet teaching me a lesson in meat and that I know nothing, they've been doing this for 30 years!!!
They refused to change it and I simply didn't have a meal!
My sister had a sirloin, mediocre quality, fries were bad, veggies were not fresh.
Was a horrible experience, totally avoid!

OMG thank god i passed this restaurant as we looking for one along the streets of Darlinghurst. The food is incredibly tasty, truly Argentinian style. Although a bit pricy but it's worth it. Good service and you have to meet the chef "Messi" lol as it says on his argentinian jersey. You feel as if you were in Argentina. Definitely going back. I recommend you order "The Three Lomos" ( a choice of lamb, pork and chicken). yummmmm
