I'm 21 yrs old and have just moved from England to seaford, today i need my hair cutting and heard some great reviews about gauci hair. I was nervous but thought if all these people go they must be good. Just to let you know i had above the shoulders curly hair, after going there i left with flat above the chin straw like hair that stuck out, my beautiful curly hair gone, none of which i had asked for i just wanted a trim so i could check them out. While they were cutting my hair i could see from the mirror it looked as though they were just hacking into my hair, no texture, no shape, no more curls gutted, i ran out the shop with my head down and hid in the car to go home. If i didnt have work tomorrow i would have stayed hidden in my house, to embarrassed to go out. No matter what i try to do to it, it just flops back. I'm so gutted and disappointed. Dont go here unless you want your beautiful hair gone. I had to give this half a star but really didnt want to. Hope this helps. xx

  omg...i have long curly hair too.i was about to go there,i want a layered bob i think for a change,i have a friend who has it done by a male..jordan is his name,she has been going for yrs&her hair always looks fab,but she has straight hair..who did your hair? is it any better now,is your hair curly again? what do you use for your hair in the way of "curling products" sorry to hear of your probs,i hope you like it here from england,there are some good people here.cheryl

  Hi cheryl, I have a layered bob and when got cut in england was really nice but when i went to gauci just the way she cut it i could tell my hair wasn't going to be the same, she just thinned it out way too much and just didn't list to anything i said even though she said she knew curly hair, i'm not sure who she was but i just didn't like the whole experience. It's started to grow back luckily, for the price as well please don't go there. I swear by tigi curls rocks cream and pantene pro v curly hair mousse but i have quite thick curly hair but for anyone with curly hair definitely tipi, if you get it off ebay it's so much cheaper and as for hairdresser's i would probably goto toni and guy's or if you go somewhere else just get a trim first to see what they are ilke and so they can get to know your hair. Awesome! wouldn't go anywhere else, funny, friendly staff, warm & inviting. Very professional, and after numerous tries at other places, Ive found a great hair salon! cheers!
