The BEST customer service i have EVER received! i was treated as if i dinned there every day and owned the place!
I booked a table for 7:30 (for 2) for my boyfriends birthday on a Saturday night but i was running an hour late, i called up so distraught because i was looking forward to dinning here and having a few drinks (i had heard such good reviews by friends about this place) and the girl who answered the phone was so so helpful, pleasant and attentive (and took all the stress away from the situation); Not only did she hold our table and made everything look perfect but she served us surprise birthday (complimentary) drinks to make sure the night was perfect for my boyfriends birthday. We had two staff members take care of us the whole night and made the best suggestions for food and drinks everything was PERFECT! Everyone there is super nice (as if they were your friends and weren't there just to make a buck). The venue has so much character and a fantastic atmosphere, the food is fantastic as well as the drinks!! (i posted pictures on facebook and all my friends where asking "where is this place, i must try this") when we left Gazebo all i could think about was when i was going to come back and show my other friends about this place to share my experience! :)

I love this place. It gets everything right. The drinks, the atmosphere, the food, the interesting decor and the tunes. Gazebo is effortlessly cool, and unpretentious. You can come here on the weekend to share jug of Pimms and some tasty snacks, or for a delcious boozy ladies lunch. At night the place is buzzing with friends meeting for drinks or a bite, and beautiful people sipping cocktails. There is something for everyone in this ivy-covered oasis. There is a large open outdoor area and cosy corners and big tables inside. This particular visit I am meeting a few girlfriends for Friday evening drinks. We are greeted by a polite (and attractive) waiter at the door and are guided to an outside table. Conveniently you have the option here of setting up a tab, & table service or ordering and paying at the bar as you go. We order a bottle of Barossa Sav blanc from the very extensive and quality wine list and a couple of Gazebos famous cheese boards to share. We settle in for the evening.

This place has been around for a while but I had my first evening here last week and I will definitely be going back. Only a few minutes walk from Kings Cross station, it is a funky, eclectic place and we were lucky enough to be seated in the Courtyard on a balmy evening with a nice breeze. The furniture is a mix of old red leather seats and cowhide seats, there are plants seemingly growing from the wall behind the bar and there is a fantastic (slightly photoshopped!) framed picture of Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mum hanging from the wall (Liz with a bottle of wine tucked under her arm). Considering how busy it got, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is not cheap (drinks in particular can get quite expensive) but if you are here for a special night out, the quality of the food and drink justifies the price. We had the 3 course dinner for $50. The starters were incredible, stuffed mushrooms, gourmet sausage rolls, salt and pepper squid and a tasty mixed salad. I ordered the trout for the main which was cooked to perfection and served on a salad of roasted peppers, capers & salsa verde. My friend had the mushroom ravioli which she was also very impressed with. The absolute highlight though was the chocolate brownie for dessert, topped with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice-cream and fairy floss. The brownie was just the right mix of crunch and warm, runny chocolate. Am salivating just thinking about it! Packs a sugary punch but it totally worth it.

When you walk in here, you can be forgiven for thinking you are on the set of Alice in Wonderland. The candles on the walls are overflown with wax and no two chairs in the quirky venue that match. It is all part of the experience amongst the cool crowd at Gazebo. When you walk in you will be greeted by a friendly staff member offering you a menu on a clip board and a table or the opportunity to just drink with friends at the bar, being a wine garden there is not much you cant try, anything from a bottle of Mumm or glass or Grange. If the sun is shining you can choose a table that is not covered by the roof, or if the weather isnt great there is ample room inside. The food menu is also fantastic and you will pay $25-$30 for mains. I highly recommend the Sausage Roll, although dont let the name fool you, this isnt the one you will find at your local deli wrapped in a paper bag, dripping in tomato sauce.

This is one of my fav places to go to . I cannot say anything bad about the experiences i have had at Gazebo . It starts with a sweet welcome , then to be taken by how beautiful the interior is decorated . Quirky and cute simply stunning !
I love their menu , not too many things to choose from just amazing dishes . One on my faves is the Crab pasta super ! and not to mention the cheese board , i always seem to order this one
Its a great place to book your birthday or something special . And i Like the different nights they host . Wine tastings , cheese night , mussel nights . So many great things happening at Gazebo

Gazebo wine garden is possibly my favourite place in the world to go for a girls lunch (or a group lunch but preferably a girls lunch). It is just fabulous. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The way they have decked out their restaurant is so interesting. They have chairs hanging from the ceiling and none of the chairs at the tables match! Its quite simply brilliant. The staff all wear overalls and sneakers and when its your birthday they make you feel super special by bringing you out a birthday cocktail. As they deliver it they bang their tambourine and hold a sparkler!

The lunch menu is so well priced. Three courses (entre of share plates, main course is a choice of three dishes and dessert is either cheese plates or a sweet option). All of this for $40 - $45 (depending on what dessert option you go for)!! You can sit there for hours with your three courses and they never try and push you out. Drinks are a bit expensive but the entire experience is just so fantastic that I dont even mind.

Its a rare occasion that youll see the original Gazebo (two more locations have opened in recent years), not teeming with laidback locals, scores of hens parties and tables of foodies. People of all ages flock to this popular watering hole, whether it be for a quick drink, or to sample the menus offerings (do yourself a favour and get the sausage roll).

One thing can always be said about Gazebo the atmosphere is always vibrant. Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons are particularly great for people watching (in Sundays case, do it while sipping on a Pimms). The menu is good, but it doesnt come cheap, and to be honest, I think you could get a better-priced and simply better meal at another eatery around Potts Point, but for drinking, this place is second to none. I take every visitor I have in Sydney to this place, if not to see the look on their face when they experience it, but to have someone to share in the delights of the wine list with.

Who would have thought that such a place of fine service, fine food and cool decor could exist in the cross.

Mid-week drinks at Gazebo are always busy but the weekend is when this place really amazes me. I was there recently for lunch on a Sunday. The sun was shining and we were sitting outside. There were tables all around us filled with young, trendy, good looking people. The staff match this description also.
Some of our friends entered the free petanque tournament, run by one of the bar staff, and won a bottle of wine.
We had tapas to share (between 20 or so) and no one went hungry. The food was all great quality delicatessen like.
The guys were drinking Vale Ale all day while the girls enjoyed some great champagne.

We ended up hanging around well into the night as the staff casually came around to collect each of our $20 for the food. Even when we came up $20 short, they were still polite and jovial.

All in all, a great day and I can't recommend it highly enough!
