All Pregnancies and Births are unique. We cherish birth and feel deeply privileged to share this journey with you. 

Preparing for the birth of your baby is an important step in achieving the welcome to life you want for your baby. 

Our role is to inform you about the decisions you will face throughout the coming months, the choices you have and provide you with all the information you require to make your own decisions.

We will then support you fully in those decisions and nurture you while you achieve your goals. Providing a hand to hold whenever you need it and instilling in you a sense of calm and trust in your own remarkable ability. 

Nothing is more beautiful, more life affirming or more memorable than the birth of your child. 

What is a Doula ?

The term Doula derives from a Greek word meaning â??woman servant or caregiverâ?�. Today it refers to a woman who provides support to a new mother and her family during pregnancy and childbirth enabling everyone to enjoy a relaxed and calm lead up to the arrival of your baby.

Doulas are trained professionals with experience in child birth specialising in a non medical role. They do not do the job of a midwife or doctor. The role of a Doula is a complimentary role to the medical team and supports the mother during child birth to ensure she is heard and the father in his role as primary support person and protector of the birthing space.
