My brother and I took my mum to Messina on Mother's Day after a lovely lunch. We were invited to try as many flavours as we liked before choosing which ones we'd like to purchase. The flavours are incredible and very difficult to choose which ones you want
Love the fresh, creamy tasty and well priced gelato here. Always a line, but its worth the wait, which isn't that bad despite how long the line is. Staff are friendly and efficient, even when under the pump! I could come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner - rain, hail or shine! They make the best ice cream by far!
Always a good call to get an after dinner treat from here. The only annoying thing is there's always a queue and you can pay in cash only. Overlooking that, the gelato combos make you salivate and are well worth the time spent searching this suburb for ATMs (there are none apparently)
All Hail the Mecca of all Messina?s - Darlinghurst is not just another store, but they have a creation lab. Forget cup or cone, Darlinghurst Messina has 2 shops side by side, one that you can order your humble scoop and the other where you can buy a CREATION. Changing all the time, just like their flavours, the creation lab is like an oompaloompa was let loose at Messinaread more
Can't complain about anything here. Fun names for some of the unique Flavors. Quality ingredients ensure a wonderful finished product. The staff are all very patient and kind . I once bought a gelato birthday cake, it was ok, but I think just a tub to eat in your own is more enjoyable .
