Generous portions, great food, comfortable atmosphere and seating, but customer service was less than great. Served by 3 waiters in one night which is fine, but yet was left with finished dinner on the table for a long period of time, one waiter hardly said a word even when we said 'thank you' and looked bothered to be serving, had to flag down waiters to clear the table and ask for coffees, waiters avoided looking at us or coming by otherwise. In the past this cafe was a great option for lunch or dinner, a little unsure about it now..

Awful, awful customer service! Happened to me twice in a row although with different waitresses. The last one dumped a glass of juice on our table without saying a single word and interrupting our conversation. I heard similar feedback from other people too. They've got to do something about it if they want to keep customers coming.

I don't mind the food at Georges Cafe.
They need to open for breakfast though and if not open early on the weekdays for those who want to watch a movie at midday onwards cause they only open at midday and that's way too late.
On weekdays, Georges Cafe needs to open at 11am like they do on the weekend!

    Bad service, bad staffs
Management came out and did nothing, was very rude and abrupt. food is bad.
    WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Food was bad. I got overcharged for things i didn't order. Some rude staff told me they were part of the management when they clearly were not and didn't even listen to me when I was complaining. Very untrained staff.

The food here is great and big portions! Avocado chicken is my favourite. Also a great palce to go for dessert as its big slices served with icecream and reasonably cheap. Gets very busy/packed out so might have to wait or sit outside

good coffee, although the standard changed regularly
Service is slow, only 1 waitress
Menu is of high standards, but recommend their frequently changing special board
It is quite expensive- $9.90 for a piece of cake- which was amazing.
Been many time (happy to wait the service- especially as they are air conditioned) One main disappointment was they served peanut oil for breads and dips plate- especially when you are paying the inflated prices
Worth checking out for the dessert menu

Food was good, good sized servings & reasonable price, but the service was shocking. Busy-ish time with only 1 waiter serving 6-10 tables, so waited for a long time for service and they'd run out of desserts on the menu (though some came in while we waited). Even had to wait 5 minutes to pay!!!

Cafe is quite small, but cosy. The food is superb and the service is top notch. It can get a little crowded at times, but their food will draw you back again!

Place is always too crowded, otherwise the food portions are amazingly huge. The wait staff are attentive and friendly. My husband and I LOVE their Tiramisu!!! would definately recommend to others.
