We booked Tinhouse at Tanunda through Getaways Tanunda, we were coming from Melbourne and found we were going to arrive in Tanunda around 12.30 pm, we called Getaways to check if it was possible to arrive at 12.30 instead of 2 pm, we were told, YES, but that will cost you $35 !!!!!!! We were speechless and decided to spend the time having a lovely lunch at a Tanunda pub which cost us less than the $35 early arrival fee. We have travelled the world and booked into cottages and hotels and NEVER have been told to pay $35 to arrive slightly early, we were in Tanunda to attend a friends wedding and told every person there of our experience, NO ONE had ever heard of that before - when we did arrive at Getaways to pick up our keys, we may as well have been talking to robots, there was no feeling of welcome, very cold .
Be careful anyone who uses this service to book accommodation and DON'T arrive early.
By the way, the Tinhouse was lovely and we did enjoy the accommodation.
