We tried Gigi's on a Thursday night it was pretty packed out with only 2 tables left. it wasn't for me but I can see why others like it - the staff are friendly (though the wait staff we had didn't always understand us possibly due to language barrier) and it has a super modern interior. Like most places in Newtown it is a little squishy so if you don't mind others listening to your conversation and listening to theirs it's fine. I had the Capricciosa and they'd put some of the harder parts of the artichoke on my pizza which combined with the fact that the sides of my pizza were pretty doughy and hard to cut, made it a little difficult to eat.
This is a friendly family oriented italian restaurant in Newtown, with authentic italian wood fire pizza that are to die for.
Pasta is actually made on the premises which gives it that much loved attention and dedication, and the staff are wonderful and understanding.
Get there early as they do get busy....well what do you expect...oh and by the way it is very well priced.
