    Right next door to the South Bank Cineplex, Ginga is a great place to eat before seeing a movie. I've only ever had food off the sushi train and I've never been disappointed. The wine on the menu isn't that spectacular but you wouldn't expect it to be really, it's not that upmarket really. Sushi can be made fresh to order or taken from the train. The later you get there, the less on the train. Can be eat in or take away. I've always been happy with my choices and will keep going back. I can rate them on the fish sushi options tho as I only order them for my children and they don't seem that great. The octopus and squid seemed very tough and chewy.

    This place is very 'hip'. The service was provided by youthful Japanese girls who were very accommodating and cheerful. I chose plates off the sushi train. I felt the prices were above average for the quality of the sushi. The sushi was mediocre, unforgettable, however palatable.

    I would not go out of my way to return.

    This is one of our favourite Japanese restaurants in Brisbane. The menu is extensive including the beer and sake menu. The service is good with meals never very far away. The venue is fine specially if you are in a group who can access the cosy tables. If you are a couple tables are a bit too close together. Plenty of parking at Southbank.
