    Have been here in sydney fr a yr now ! Hav tried a no. Of indian restaurant , havent been too happy wid food anywhere... So dis weekend jus ordered paneer buttr masala (take away) frm dis restaurant n i cnt tel u how much me n my wife relished it ! Trust me wen i say it ws - lip smacking ! Wil definitely repeat it fr proper dine in now ! N not to forget d staff is pretty friendly too :)

    Went there last week and we are now cursing ourselves for not being able to recognize this as a restaurant before. We have been a regular visitor to Harris park for our curry craving and have past them quite few times while considering it to be a nicely decorated cottage. To our surprise, we read their very dim name board this time and realized that it's a restaurant. The waitress was very welcoming, the food was the best Indian we have ever eaten in Sydney. The lamb was so soft that it just dissolved in the mouth without making any effort. Their prawn dish is to die for. They also make sure that they see you off to the door. What a service. Guys you will now see us often and we will recommend it to everyone we'll come across. Thanks very much...

    I ordered from Ginger for the first time
    On new years day as they where one of the
    Few businesses opened they delivered to my
    Door promptly and with no public holiday surcharge.
    The food was authentic and still hot when i received it

    The good thing about this restaurant is its service unlike other Indian restaurants.
    We loved the entrees lamb chops and chicken tikka. For mains I had the goat biryani and it was surprisingly better than the other Indian restaurants, my partner had the lamb rogan josh which was the best one she had so far and the peshwari naan was just unbelievable. The ambience was really authentic with nice blue lamps. We'll certainly be returning for more. Thanks a lot Guys!!!

    Well, have tried most of the Indian restaurants on that street in Harris Park, Went to ginger yesterday and was so disappointing, I will go 1 by 1.

    First on tray was paneer tikka which was as little as 2 pcs of paneer with uncooked onions and capsicum.

    Then it took 25 mins to get mains, 3 diffrent dishes (Paneer, Malai Kofta & Mix Veg), and guess what the taste of all 3 were the same, because they used 1 curry for all.

    Never going there again.

      We apologise for your bad experience at our restaurant.
      I would like to give the reasoning for these. As it was a Saturday night and we were almost full but your group of 8 was still accommodated as you were with one of our regular guests who happens to visit us after that night as well. We are a only BYO wine venue and we allowed you to bring your Double Black as well. Sir you ordered mix veg tandoor and not paneer tikka, which has 2 pieces each of paneer, mushroom, cauliflower, capsicum and onion and as per our knowledge you did enjoy your chilly paneer. 25 minute wait is normal in our restaurant on a Saturday night sir, specially when you donâ??t order your mains with the entree as we prepare one dish at one time. All these curries spicy paneer delicacy, malai kofta and mix veg have totally different taste and we donâ??t think you are saying right here. We do apologise for serving you 2 servings of mix veg, which was your running order inspite of one being spicy paneer delicacy.

    I am glad that I entered this restaurant to collect the take away menu. There was a private party going on.... My friend insisted to have the dinner. I was a bit confused but anyway had to please her..... It was simply awesome. All curries were amazing. I really liked the taste and blend of spices in Chilly Chicken. It was quite good. I never had it before. Will be back for sure.
