Located in an Edwardian home in the leafy eastern suburbs, Glencoe Restaurant offers diners an elegant, individual experience where service, hospitality and classic cuisine are of the utmost importance. Glencoe’s menu is based on a fixed price for a set number of courses consisting of canapes and soup on arrival, followed by a choice of entrees, main courses and delicious desserts. The menu is constantly evolving based upon the seasonality of produce and Joe and his team’s fascination with world cuisines. The perfect venue for a celebration or indulgence.

quaint, classy, snobby, comfortable - Glencoe manages to embrace all these and more. It caters more to the grey haired set, the night we went I'd say 90% of the clientele were thinking of or enjoying retirement. For dinners the menu offers a choice of 3 courses or 3 courses and soup. Look the menu seems a bit tired and old so I was hoping to be surprised but not expecting a great deal. Well, I got our entree's and I was pleasantly surprised -- we opted for the brains, escargots & the terrine - all greatly presented, tasty & sizeable. Next the mains, look compared to the entree's they were disappointing, barely larger & not as tasty. But step aside mains, here come the desserts...we opted for the dessert selection & it delivered, it delivered BIG - on taste, size, variety and looks. If you're going to get one course...bring on the desserts! Overall Glencoe offers great service, a tasty though limited menu and if you are in the "older" age category, you'll fit right in.
