Beautifully restored pub with a superb cocktail list and great food

Recently reopened after a stunning restoration, the Glenferrie Hotel in Hawthorn is  renowned for serving typical pub cuisine along with a  selection of 5 premium steaks served with hand-cut chips, baby herb salad and selection of sauces.The ornate bar features a good selection of beers and cider on tap as well as an extensive wine list with many by the glass. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly, perfect for a casual catch up with friends.

    Accommodates a large crowd. A must-try is the Chicken Parmasan Cheese which is a large serving. Other types of food is also very delicious. Great environment, with both selection of outdoor and indoor to choose from. Beers and wine also offered.

    Very friendly and welcoming place. Not your typical pub, as in it is clean and fresh. Prices are resonable and the new beer garden is gorgeous.

    A very welcoming place to come to when you want a good old fashioned meal. The beer garden feels very cozy even during winter (when heaters are made available). The service was a little slow despite their not being that many people arround, but the food was good and they offer a good selection of beverages. Good place to visit if youre not in a rush.

    Modern relaxing hotel that has had several renovations in recent years. Good hearty, well presented pub tucker in the dining area. A billiards and band area at the rear. Great spacious "side section" is ideal for large groups. A pokies area that unfortunately replaced a very relaxing seating area. Generally good service and this venue has co-operated with the community to ensure responsible drinking.
