I went to Globeauty because on their website they promoted themselves strongly as eyebrow specialists, who were able to do corrective and sculpting work to all types of eyebrows.
My eyebrows are reasonably thick and hadn't been waxed in some time so they were a fairly blank canvas. I asked for a good shaping and said I would like more of an arch.
There was none of the consultation the website promoted, it was straight into the wax and what I ended up with was one eyebrow a bit too thin and distinctly lopsided in two places. When I expressed dismay at this result, the therapist claimed it was because my eyebrows were lopsided... Surely this is what they are there to fix! Like many people, I think one of my eyebrows is slightly thicker than the other, but they certainly weren't crooked when I went in.
The therapist asked me several times "what did I want to do?" (surely it's her job to make suggestions?) and rather than risk further carnage I opted to leave. I wasn't charged for this treatment.
If like me, you are looking for a really talented eyebrow therapist, my recommendation is GO ELSEWHERE. What you read on their website and what you actually get are two very different things.
