    I am doing this to warn people about GLORIA GRADY DESIGNS in Fyshwick.
    I took my wedding dress there for alterations 6 months before my wedding date, thinking I was allowing plenty of time to get it just right. After 4 months, during which I made at least 6 phonecalls to check up on my dress, they finally called and asked me to come in to try the dress on again. What a disaster! The alterations were not what I asked for, and half of it was still only pins, not much of a result after 4 months! With only 8 weeks until the wedding, I went into panic mode, and, 2 days later, purchased another dress (from Noveau Riche in Queanbeyan (they're fantastic)). And just as well. After at least 4 more phone calls (with no answer, and no return call), my wedding day came and went, as did our honeymoon. I called into GLORIA GRADY to pick up my dress (I just wanted it back) 5 weeks after our wedding, and there it was, hanging in the same spot they'd put it 3months earlier, with no further alterations, it still had pins in it! After explaining that my wedding day was over a month ago, and querying them as to why they didn't call me, they handed over my dress without a hint of an apology. I will never use GLORIA GRADY DESIGNS in fyshwick ever again.
