    Having lived in China I think i have good appreaciation of Chinese food. Tast meals of good size. I very much like the shark fin soup.

    Enjoyable food, and good service. However the language barrier made things abit hard. We had a friend with us that was allergic to certain foods and couldn't get that across to them.

    Probably not the place to go if you have food allergies. But good food never the less

    A group of 4 of us went to this restaurant yesterday & have now claimed it as the best Yum Cha on the Gold Coast.
    The food was very fresh & hot, the variety was great, the service was excellent & all of the staff were very polite & friendly.
    We will definately be regulars at Shark Fin Yum Cha.

    This is a solid Chinese Restaurant. Huge seating area for Dim Sum on Sundays and plenty o'variety for all tastes - whether you're a seasoned veteran of the Chinese food scene or a novice who likes his/her Western palate-friendly honey chicken.

    Would recommend everything but the shark soup... With fishing stocks getting scarce someone's got to stand up for sharky and just say: 'thanks, but no thanks!'

    That said: it is a fine restaurant for a group outing.

    PS: Kuddos to the wait-staff who put up with all manner of clientele, including weird bald men with a penchant for public exhibitionism.

    This is a great Chinese Restaurant with both locals and visitors enjoying the food. The chefs know there trade here and i always enjoy a night of dining in but have had a few good takeaways as well..
