A giant garfish effigy helps to reinforce the marine theme. Unchanging at the Gouger Cafe - and the other Gouger seafooderies - is the combination dish, fillets of whiting, garfish, snapper and so on with prawns or calamari. For the seriously indulgent, there is a mighty seafood platter. A combo of crumbed King George whiting and scallops, and fresh whole snapper taken with chips and bags of lemon are succulent choices. Riesling is, of course, the perfect wine for such food.

Delicious! The food is good, the pricing is affordable and the service is one of the best I have seen from a restaurant. The variety of cuisines amazes me and this restaurant definitely gets the thumbs up from me! RECOMMENDED!
