Govinda's is a great venue to take your friends to or to take someone on a romantic dinner. It is great value for money and the food (Hare Krishna style) is simple and delicous. The movie room is fantastic and comfortable where you take your shoes off relax and lie down. I love this place as it is very good value.

This is an experience not to miss. Quality food and movies for an unbelieveably small price and I love sitting on the cushions! The screens and sounds aren't so great when compared to other cinemas

I didn't go for the movie, but for the Indian Vegetarian food. I was really disappointed as southern indian food is usually delicious, but they served the most basic and boring selection of dishes. Only one vegie curry, a daal, and then pasta and salad. This could be so much more authentic. It's cheap but really not very nice.

Govinda's is a fun night if you are looking for something to do.

Have dinner(all you can eat vegetaran buffet) and then move upstairs for a movie. Food is edible - but not great. The restaurant is fully BYO. While the movies are not always the newest release and the screen and sound are fairly average, there are not too many other places where you can lie back on comfy seats to watch a movie (other than home).

Makes going to the movies a bit more interesting.
