Easy to get to. A very good brew. to. After a frantic morning of shopping we needed a break and coffee. Very nice. Dumb me left my glasses behind on leaving. Returning to scene of the crime the nice lady had put them safely away for me. Much appreciated

If it wasn't for the seating arrangements and the buzzers given to you to collect your food, I wouldn't have spotted this place as an up-market food court! The light is dimmed and decor inside the GPO Martin Place building is beautiful. I love that you're able to enjoy a crisp-based pizza from one place and buy a glass of wine from a separate bar and try other offerings from other food 'outlets'. Gourmet pizza without the price of going to a gourmet pizza restaurant!

Slightly on the noisy side on Thursday and Friday nights. Attentive table service, so you're not standing awkwardly at an empty and messy table waiting for it to be cleared. One criticism is a lack of an ATM in the building except for a foreign currency one that charged extra, so just make sure you take out cash at one of the banks up at the street before you come downstairs.

That's right... I'm hanging with the cool kids.
Lots of the Martin Place bankers, business people and corporates come here and I can see why!
This up market food court is located down the escalators of the famous 1 Martin Place -the Historic Post Office site where shops and the exclusive Westin Hotel now reside. With offerings from various ministaurants (aka mini-restaurants) such as Subterrainian Grill (Greek), Sushi Train and where I ate- the 'Postales De Espana'. Without googling- I'm sure it has something to do with Postal and Spanish... and it caters for a sit down meal in teh restaurant or you can sit under the sky roofed common area and enjoy a fine selection of Tapas.
We chose the white pig cured meat (apparently cured for 3 years!), the Garlic Prawns and the mushrooms. Highly recommend ordering the Miche Bread (ala Sonoma's Carb specialty!) and olives to compliment the meal. Perfect!

Would highly recommend this place for a nice lunch in the heart of the city.

The GPO is a fantastic CBD venue offering and a variety of good quality food at great prices. The service is quick and efficient - especially good when you are racing against the clock with an hour lunch break and the seating is sufficient to sit down with friends and have a chat.

This is a great place to go for lunch. The food is tasty and good value for money, and the service is quite quick, which is appreciated when you have a set time for lunch and don't have time to relax over your meal.

I was lucky enough to experience this venue during a work function and was able to sample all it had to offer and was very impressed at the quality and freshness of the produce. Fantastic food and atmosphere all in one.

  • Crystal Bar

A stylish subterranean nightspot in the wheeling and dealing professional heart of Sydney.

Where mail was once sorted deep under the iconic GPO building in Martin Place, well-dressed business types now clink cocktail glasses under sparkling crystal chandeliers. Despite its nondescript entrance between upmarket shops and restaurants, the Crystal Bar is a stylish subterranean nightspot in the wheeling and dealing professional heart of Sydney. We are ushered into one of the private rooms by the bar's friendly hostess after a warm greeting and are feeling a little bit special as we recline on the chocolate leather banquettes and watch the buzz out in the main bar through gauzy gold curtains. The walls of the cave-like booth are made from thick sandstone and are glowing a soft red, thanks to cleverly placed lighting. The space is comfortable for four friends, six would be a bit too snug. We even have our own crystal chandelier and our dedicated waiter keeps popping in to see if we need more drinks. During our stay from 7pm to 9pm, the main bar area gets busier and ...
