Grandma's Pantry - Whole Foods, Gluten Free Food, Confectionery. Servicing the Redlands and Brisbane Greater Metro

Grandma's Pantry was born of a combination of ideas, philosophies and most of all, a commitment to providing the freshest dry products at a fair price coupled with good old fashioned customer service.

The owners of Grandma's Pantry (Neale & Sandra Royal) established their dream back in May 2008 and have seen it grow on a continuing basis with the support of the Redlands community and adjacent suburbs. They had seen this bulk, self-serve retail concept earlier and decided to take it to another level, providing interactive assistance to their customers through web-based advice and a plethora of recipes and items to compliment the products they sell.

Their day-to-day mantra is simple - remove packaging from the equation, hence reducing costs and encourage customers to purchase exactly the quantities they require, therefore reducing waste and saving money. Neale said that in today's economic climate and with people wanting to take control of their purchasing habits, the ability to buy as little or as much as they required was becoming very popular.
Grandma's, as the shop is affectionately becoming known by regulars, stocks a wide and varied range of dry goods including, but not limited to: dried & glace fruits, raw & processed nuts, savoury snacks; cereals, bread flours & pre-mixes, rices, pastas, sugars, coffee beans, herbs & spices, beans & legumes, confectionery and the largest, most comprehensive range of gluten free products in the Redlands. If you are Coeliac or Gluten Intolerant, come and check out the great variety available.
Sandra has added the old fashioned rural touch with tea towels, aprons, kitchen sets, an eclectic collection of knick-knacks, and eco-friendly carry-bags for sale.
Grandma's Pantry is local to Capalaba, Thorneside, Alexandra Hills, Birkdale, Cleveland, Ormiston, Wellington Point, Thornlands, Victoria Point, Redland Bay

Grandma's Pantry brings the traditional country feel and personal service back into retail.

Jack's back ! Well, things are going from strength to strength @ Grandma's. I am truly one of the converted. I just felt the need to give an update of how things are progressing @ Grandma's. Their range is increasing on a weekly basis, especially the Gluten Free range. So many simple, easy-to-make mixes including their NEW G/F bread mix. This actually forms a dough-ball - just like "normal bread" instead of something that closely resembles cake batter. This is the closest to real bread that I've found. Crusty crust, cuts like bread, tastes like bread . . . . must be bread ! Thanks again to Neil and his staff - always friendly and helpful. Hope this store continues to grow and prosper - they deserve it !

What a great wall of lollies! There's even some I haven't seen since I was a kid. I also tried the healthy options and was really happy. I like buying just the quantity I need so there's no wastage ( you know those miscellaneous bags of I don't know what found in the back of the cupboard). Neale and his staff are wonderful - full of great ideas and always on hand to help. I'm converted. Thanks

This is one of those shops you can get really passionate about - they have such a great range of cooking products and treats, from muffin, bread, cake, pancake mixes that are so easy to use. Or you can make your own cereal from all the ingredients make it exactly as you want. Plus my kids love it as it has such a huge wall of lollies! You can buy as little as you need as you self serve it and that way don't have a heap of wastage. I buy snacks for my kids school lunches (they do have plenty of healthy options too!) Although I am not celiac I have tried some of the gluten free products and they are fantastic - especially the mudcake mix!
They also offer great old fashioned service to top it off!

    Thank you Neale and Sandra!

I found all the goodies I have been searching for! Some great coffee beans, bread flour and lovely nuts and fruits. Even bought lollies for the kids. Nice to find real food supplies in a shop owned by real people.

A MUST VISIT for all the cooks and chefs out there!

Where do I start. Neil is a very warm and inviting. His selection of products is great. Everything from the sweet to the savoury. I go there all the time and find myself buying lollies for the kids (and myself, but don't tell my wife), nuts and even cereals. My wife buys the cake and muffin mixes which are great and neil and his staff are always keen to help you with the recipies and what is required. Great shop in my opinion and close by too. Keep up the good work neil.

What a great shop ! Just discovered Grandma's (through review on TrueLocal)and can't believe what they've got in there. Why wasn't I told sooner? Fantastic range of gluten free products & cheaper than Coles & Woolies. Bought GF mudcake mix, went home, made it up and am having a cuppa and a piece as I write this. Staff were really helpful (suggested the mudcake) and genuine. Hope this shop grows and grows. Just what Redlands needs

I have used the muffin and cake mixes from here and they are so yum!
My nephew is gluten intolerant and my sister buys a lot of things from here and says it is the best she has found.

I love this shop! They have so many things to choose from that I always end up coming out with extra stuff I didn't plan to buy. I make my own breakfast cereals from their selection and it works out so much cheaper plus the cereal has exactly what I want in it.
Neale and Sandra are so lovely as well - you can tell they really love owning this shop and are so proud of it.
The only problem I have is I had to ban my husband from going in - he spends too much money there!!!!
