    greater union hurstville in my experience i find is a bit shabby compared to others.the seats are average and slightly uncomfortable and because the closeness of the session times the cleaniless isn't so great however i don't blame the employees the customers are not so nice are after watching a movie with a mans feet right next to my head from the row behind is not actually cosy is it?

    A fantastic movie experience. A clean store with friendly staff. The candy bar is alway stocked to the brim with awesome treats just waiting to be bought. The only problem is the steep prices at the candy bar.

    I went online and saw that I could buy a ticket there (great!) and even better, you can now select which seat you want, so no more queueing up early to get the best spots (or arriving late and being wedged up the front).

    When I arrived it was busy, and the machine for collecting internet tickets wasn't working. Nor was there a queue for internet ticket collection. So I had to queue up in the normal line which was quite long.

    Then we had to queue to get into the cinema. We weren't let in until after the session started, meaning we missed half the ads and some of the promos.

    Then, because of the large number of families and the fact that it was pitch black, they had to stop the session to get people to sit in their correct seats. This was compounded by the aisle numbers being behind, not next to, the aisle they indicated.

    Despite these troubles, we still enjoyed the movie.

    I wish the Greater Union Hurstville did a bit more to make a pretty decent movie complex a little more interesting. The could get a sweet video arcade area happening or more comforatble seats or better snacks.

    With that said though, its a pretty clean cinema big enough to seat loads of people for the big premiers. I think that getting actual seat positions in the cinema is a bit annoying but I dont think anyone actually sits in them,

    Good cinema none the less
