Unprofessional. They asked for a deposit and then when I said I didn't usually pay deposits because of previous bad experiences, their staff got very rude.-

Our customers are important to us. We're sorry that you have had bad experiences with giving deposits to other companies. Taking a deposit is pretty standard in the roofing industry, because as I'm sure you'll appreciate, specific materials need to be purchased up front. Having said this, we would never intentionally be rude to anyone who had genuine reservations. We always work something out. Why don't you give us a call so that we can sort something out for you.

This was back in December and I did call the management after your staff was rude and put the phone down on me. Whilst the management was very pleasant and said they would see what they could sort out, I never heard back. I then got The Roofing Professionals to quote and they didn't ask for an upfront deposit and did a superb job for the same price. I would encourage anyone to definitely go for The Roofing Professionals - you can see their great reviews on Trulocal.2 months ago

My husband and I had "Greenfrog roofing" restore our roof , we were away at the time the work was done but when we got back we found our roof looking great and everything in order and no mess anywhere. This was surprising as we have had friends of ours had the same work done, through other companies, and the workmen had left a mess. I guess we were expecting the same , for that I'am writing this review and would recommend them, Thanks guys! -

Wow , these guys really know their stuff. I had freenfrog replace my roof , it looks great and it works. The best rooing company in sydney in my opinion and the owner , Clint, was very helpful from the start to the begining.Good job gays! -

We had Green Frog Roofing replace all of our gutters and downpipes and re-bed and point all the ridge capping on the tiled roof. We are extremely happy with the quote and the work carried out. The tradesmen were prompt, turned up when they said they would and did a very professional job. They were polite and courteous. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. In fact I will get them back to replace the old perspex roof at the side. Thanks again Green Frog.

Had Greenfrog install some new guttering and flushing to stop a leak into the house and I am not happy with the job at all. When it rained for the first time after the installation I got up to check the guttering and it was still full of water a couple hours after it had stopped raining.
I called and they sent someone out who installed a piece of plastic PVC pipe to drain the water away but this only helped a little. Complained I was still not happy as guttering should take away all water so the owner came to look. He told me that is as good as it will be.
Biggest regret was not getting a second and third quote. I was worried about another leak into the house so went with the first quote which happened to be Greenfrog who have done a very average job, and an expensive one at that.
My advise, look around and get more than one quote and don't go with this company. -

I'm thrilled with my new Colorbond roof so am a little surprised by some of the negative reviews. Yes there was some weather delay, but with all the rain in recent months I'd rather not have had my roof ripped up if there was a chance of it raining. Clint erred on the side of caution but that suited me. There are always some issues when you deal with tradespeople, but nothing that wasn't ironed out, and the end result looks great. I'm going to get them to do my patio roof too. -

As many of you would know the only people who tend to comment on a service are the ones who are disappointed and rarely will people make the effort to give a good review.
With the above in mind I was contacted about putting a review up on here and I am happy to do so because even though there were hiccups everything worked out to my satisfaction in the end.
I had dealings with Green Frog about a year ago now and although there was a problem with the billing and the job took a little longer than expected it was all resolved.
In regards to the billing issue once I notified them of it they looked into it and it was fixed as fast as can reasonably be expected. Over and above this one of their staff came and apologised for the confusion in person. As for the job it did take longer than anticipated and this was due to weather! As much as we like to think it is predictable it definitely is not so although at the time I was frustrated by this they did all in their power to get everything sorted out as fast as possible.
If there were not hiccups in life then you would never need to hire anyone for anything since everything would be perfect, but alas that is not true. No one likes any problems to occur but inevitably they sometimes do so as far as I am concerned if they are dealt with to the satisfaction of all then it is a job well done!
Since then I have also recommended them to others and have either been told they were happy how things went or have heard nothing which as I mentioned above is a close as most people get to giving a good review.

Did not turn up on first appointment, did not notify why, I couldn't get through on their number that morning.
Then I got a call a few weeks later to book another appointmet, arranged at 10am Thurs. The woman on the phone asked if my husband will be there I said he'll be at work, she asked how about weekends, which I declined. She said the tradesman have to speak with the both of us to give us the discount. She then said she'll just cancel the appointment and I said whatever. I was like what? A woman can't make a decision on a minor home repair without the approval of her husband? Don't bother with this company. -

Please do not use Green Frog Roofing - we are owed our deposit as they debited us twice for the same amount - after 2 phone calls and 3 emails we have not heard from them or received our money. To top it off we have a leaking gutter as the rivet has dropped out and as I dont expect ever to hear from them again I imagine I will be paying someone else to fix their shonky workmanship - please beware.-

This sounds like an accounting error to us. When we reconcile our books we fix any errors, and we sincerely apologise if this has slipped through. You should have had a refund for any amount debited in error. If you have not, please call us so that we can fix it. Also call us about the rivet, we'll get it fixed.
