    Our 3-month old puppy was very scared and growled when the vet tried to look at his gums and their way of calming his fear was to grab him by all four legs, flip him upside down and pin him to the table on his back, restraining him so he could not move. They told us that this is what the mother would do to her puppy in this situation. Our puppy was so distressed that he wet himself and was left whimpering and depressed afterwards.

    I have used this vet for many years for a number of pets. I have always found staff to be exceptionally helpful and friendly - especially during stressful times when a pet is sick or injured. My dog broke his leg badly as a puppy and was in extreme pain, the staff were so sensitive and caring to both my dog and me as I was very upset. They send letters of reminder when shots or worming treatments are required.
