I just had a bad experience Monday with this salon, they said leave it over the weekend to see how you feel which I did and I'm still upset.
I spent $199 on my hair for a colour that is dull and not at all what I was after. I even did the miles of taking in photos the day before I made the appointment to make sure they could acomplish what I wanted, I than took the photos with me as well to the appointment. They ran 4 toners through my hair to try and 'fix' it and 3.5 hours later still unhappy. I called back today to inform them I was unhappy, they offered to put another colour through my hair but not that they were able to get what I wanted.
I asked for a refund, they don't give refunds but prefer to fix - surely they can understand that I have no faith in their salon if they couldn't do it first time around or after the four toners why would they now be able to fix.
I'm so upset that I spent money on this salon for nothing, $200 isn't exactly milk money!
I bought a voucher from Living Social for this salon. I was very sceptical after so many bad experience I had with other hair salon with vouchers. But at guggenheim for hair they did treat me like a full poaying client.
That guy who runs guggenheim knows how to operate a sucsessful business. I was very impressed the way he made me feel during the time I was in there.
Also that girl did my hair was very bubbly and a great comunicator towards my hair issues.
Well I rebooked with them and I want ever by any other discount voucher anymore.
I bought a hair voucher for a cut/colour/treatment to be used at the Guggenheim Hair Salon in Brisbane. I was looking forward to it but it turned out to be a horrible experience. I was told that I must have toner & it would cost me $45 extra. I never needed toner at any other salon & I told them this. They told me I didn't have a choice I must have the toner & pay the extra $45 charge (although I had already paid for the whole hair package). I pointed out to the management that it did not say anywhere in the terms & conditions on the voucher that I would be forced to pay this additional charge. The management was very unhelpful, had poor customer service skills & even said they didn't have time for this as they were too busy. I decided not to get my hair done & left. Do not go to this salon, you will regret it!
First Class - I wast sent to Guggenheim by my wife for a tidy up before a big event. I never thought that a hairdresser, particularly a uni sex one could be an enjoyable experience. I always thought it was just a hair cut. This hairdresser is really different. I actually enjoyed getting my hair cut, and I must admit they did a great job. Highly recommended for the boys out there...
It was my first time at Guggenheim. I bought an online discount voucher and was very pleasantly surprised. Sometimes a discount voucher cut and style isnt the same as a normal clients job, but this experience was first rate. Classy salon, great staff and I will deifnately be back as a regular client. Oh by the way, they are not at wintergarden any more. They are around in George Street.
this was the worst hair experience in my entire life! i have never been as disappointed as now! I had a special offer for hair cut+colour+blow dry and treatment. The managers refused to respect the discount, made me pay outrageous extras for services I already payed with my voucher, and did not respect me as a customer. Embarrassed and had been told three different things during my treatment, to pay more extras for the hair cut and the blow dry, I had to pay an extra 150 box for a service I already payed!
as regards the service, It is overpriced and doesn't worth the money at all.
