Went to H&R Mt Omaney for a standard tax return. Was told would receive a $1800 refund only to find out from the tax office is actually $1800 owed! This error has not only caused grief, emotional stress but has subsequently cost more with ANOTHER accountant having to fix it all up. This terrible excuse for customer service appears to be a direct result of attempted raised revenue and driving customer volume at tax time. The coaching the accountant received from a colleague during the assessment implies a lack of training and knowledge of the industry. Lastly the phone always rings out with no answering machine. It took 2 weeks to get paperwork sent to new accountant (by email, as phone was never answered).
