Had a terrible experience with Baby Haggle Parafield. Purchased a car baby seat which was supposed to include the cost of installation. Initially we were told once we bought the chair that all we had to do was book in a time on a Tuesday for the install. Several weeks had to pass by because the staff didn't do afternoons, was on holidays, had been sick, etc. When it became urgent because bubs was coming, we called back to get told that no-one does installations at the Parafield store anymore and that we would have to go to Beverly for the job. Nice to get told that after the purchase and with no more choice. We felt a refund was in order since the company could no longer fulfil their obligations. We got everything for our baby from that shop and spent over $2000 but won't be back EVER AGAIN. Baby Haggle at Parafield cannot get the balance right between good value and good service.

Bit of advice - be wary in paying for goods upfront that aren't in stock and need to be shipped to this store!
We purchased a 5 piece nursery furniture set back in early July, with 3 of the pieces not in stock. We were reassured that the shipment would arrive in 4 weeks time, so being only 21 weeks pregnant at the time we didn't stress about it.
4 weeks came and went and no phone call as promised. So we phoned them, only for a different staff to say the shipment would be another 4 weeks. She apologised and said the previous staff was new and didn't know what they were talking about. Great, thanks for the heads up!
Another 4 weeks have came and went with no phone call or communication, so today my husband phoned them. Turns out the shipment won't arrive now until...November. I'm due in November. So fair to say my husband let off a bit of steam! She tried to get us to upgrade all the gear for a price (which they did have in stock - surprise surprise) but he said no way, we're not paying extra for your problem. So they reluctantly agreed to upgrade the 3 pieces for free.
So yeah just aware that if you are on a timeline, 4 weeks turned into 4 months for us and their customer service is terrible. We had to do all the following up in this case and fair to say we won't be shopping at Haggle Baby again.

Have been to this store 4 times= 4 times too many!
My first visit was for a bath-seat. I had phoned prior to going in (to be sure it would be worth loading 4mth old in to the car) and when I got there it turned out I had been misquoted $24. They didnt have a very good range and what they did have was quite expensive. The cheapest one was $60 but I bought it out of desperation. Used it twice and it broke! The foam seat cover tore just from bubs sitting on it (what its designed for!) which made it unusable. I took it back and was refused a refund. I pointed out that the sign on the counter only said no refunds if you simply change your mind and that the product was faulty so I should get refunded the full amount. The staff only gave me a 3mth store credit, which I definitely didnt want.
I went back in to use the voucher. There was nothing in the shop that I wanted or needed; Very boring and expensive clothing range, Crappy and expensive toy selection. But lots of disposable nappies!! Pity we use cloth. I grabbed a couple of small toys and a nappy cover and was handed my $1.40 change- Thanks a lot!
My forth and final visit was yesterday. I went against my better judgement but it was on my way home and I was desperate. Came across rude, obnoxious staff again and still no variety in store. Big sale on, 20% off everything- no wonder really, considering.
All I wanted was a potty. Aside from the 4 fancy ones with lids and drawers at $50-$60ea there was a plastic one hiding on the floor under the bottom shelf. No price, surprise surprise. Had to wait for staff to check the system...... The satff yelled the price out to me across the shop, thanks! Then I asked for training pants. Of course they didnt have any- but they did have disposable pull-ups and training pants. Again, how useful to me!

This store is incredible. Its so little yet has so much variety!!! the girls that helped me were lovely and i couldn't have asked for any better service especially with my screaming 2 year old!!!
i got some great bargains, and even tried to get baby buntings to match the price but they wouldn't! i don't feel comfortable haggling but the staff made it fun and i love going in there every couple of weeks for my nappies (cheapest anywhere) to say hi. thanks girls.

I Love this shop! The service is great and the sales are fantastic. I just wanted to say a big thank-you to all the help and especially from Jodie. A great experience and i will defiantly return once my baby is born.
    Thank-you Haggle Baby!

Agree with 1lilli1, this store definitely does not live up to advertisd expectations. They are always sold out of their specials and have a much smaller range than expected. Service is terrible in my opinion and they don't follow up on inquiries.

This store did not live up to its advertised expectations. They would not haggle or even hold some stuff for my friend for 24hours. Save your time and money and go elsewhere maybe the new store down south is better but as for the Port Road store they should change name to "we are very rude and won't haggle co" very disappointing.
