Salon is dirty and rundown. Equipment is all looking worse for wear, and some of the seats frankly look dangerous. Sofas in the waiting area are scungy, and carpet is in a bad way. No water provided. First haircut was good, albeit overpriced. The second visit though we were 4 minutes late (exactly!) due to a police roadblock down the street and the staff refused to serve us, said we were 20 minutes late and were incredibly rude. They said they couldn't fit us in but when we drove past 15 minutes later, there were no customers. Not impressed.

  I've been going to Hair 4 Kids for about 5years now, I've never had a problem....I know they work on 15min appointments, so every minute counts for them. As for the state of the salon, yes,it's run down, but they're moving to a new salon in Airport West at the end of March, same set up (thank god). The staff are lovely and I'm not going anywhere... My kids love it and that's what counts...Oh, and as for water, there's a kitchen in the back, I'm sure if you asked a staff member they would've got you some, it's worked for me....

  The salon did look a little old but they were moving within a couple of months from your visit.They now have a very exciting new kids salon to show and offer their new and existing customers. The staff are qualified and very friendly with years of experience with children. I was there at the salon that day you claim to have had bad customer service and remember looking at the clock sorry to say but you were 20 mins late therefore you were going to put others behind who also had appointments. A phone call would have been appreciated im sure. Check out their new salon at 12 Thomas Street Airport West 9310 4696 ive been going there with my 3 kids for 8 yrs and havent had any problems

This is a great place to get kid's hair done. My little boy has been getting his hair done here since his first cut (about 9 months old - he's now 2). The kids can sit in cars/bikes to get their hair done, they can watch a DVD while it's being done, and the staff are quick and friendly so the experience is as good as possible for the kids. While you're waiting for your appointment there is also a play area for the kids. Great for avoiding haircut tantrums!
