    Never complained before but this is the worst. Cheap is not bad but in this case the whole business is geared to the one off visit. No one would ever return. There is no service, cleanliness and even worse the cut was poor. Dont waste your time or money.

    Contacted Salon to make an appointment on behalf of my client ( I am a P.A ). Refuse to go ahead with a booking after speaking to such an ignorant, staff on the phone that was obviously too busy for customer service for a prospective and important client. Will be passing this information onto family and friends, including my clients. Absolutely not recommend this salon to anyone.

    Called on the phone and was answered with a "What?" Explained what I wanted and the service went down from there. Horrible arrogant service. Just stay away.

    Went on a 'cudo' voucher and it was the worst experience ever, I will not recommend this saloon to anyone.
    - They asked 'pick a colour' from the chart and the staff who was doing my hair was so impatient and just wanted to put some color on may hair which indeed turned out to be orange instead of ash despite my emphasis on the color.
    - The voucher mentioned a keratin treatment - no such was given or offered, I asked twice but the answer was that the treatment was applied on your hair with the color!!!!!!!!! there is no such thing with keratin treatment. they have to put the treatment and then iron the hair for couple of times.
    - $30 voucher was supposed to be included, and was never offered and given when I handed over the certificate or when I asked 'is there anything else?' before I left...
    I would NOT recommend & would NEVER go there again

    Extremely rude & unprofessional - this facility is absolutely appalling! Being in the Grace Hotel and previously award winning you would expect some normal level of professionalism and quality at this hairdresser.

    I was given a voucher from Cudos so was expecting the experience to be at least 1/2 decent - I wish I was read all these reviews before going there!

    Some pointers from my experience:
    1. When trying to make the initial booking, the proprietor was extremely rude and when I asked to leave my contact details he said no, if I do not show up to my appointment then I lose the value of the voucher.

    2. The shop was under staffed and I had to wait for over an hour before being attended to, if they had my details then at least they could have called me to advise that were running over time.

    3. Proprietor rushed through colouring my hair and unprofessionally over the sink like one would do at home as a DIY hair dye kit from the supermarket.

    4. Haircut was extremely dodgy and I have since had to get it recut within days of the cut.

    5. I left the salon with hair dye on both ears, my neck and my forehead.

    I cant believe Cudos is running this promotion for the 3rd time and has failed to do anything about feedback on this facility.

    This is THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! The last 8 reviews were spot on! I wish I had never purchased the vouchers (one for me and one as a present for my sister). From the time of booking until the moment I walked out the staff were extremely rude. My appointment was first thing in the morning and they had overbooked, there were 3 customers and one staff. When the second staff arrived all they did was complain about their work and the lack of staff employed. The colour was done over the basement and just splashed on, it was all over my neck and ears. I was left at the basin for ages as by this stage more customers had arrived. Eventually they washed the colour out and left me sitting there dripping wet for at least 15 minutes, the staff (who looked around 15 years old) said they would cut my hair (at this stage I was getting even more worried). They was just about to start when the management (who didn't seem to do anything but walk around the shop) told them they had to do some walk in customer and to leave me there. I sat there for another 10 minutes and was ready to walk out until someone finally came around. After such a horrible experience I left the venue with dye all over my neck, face and ears. That seemed to be the only place that the dye worked as my hair colour looked the same as before I went in. This place is a disgrace, not only are the staff rude but it is so dirty, there was hair all over the floor when I arrived and I was the first booking. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY at this place. I think I could have dyed my hair better at home, and my husband could have probably given me a better haircut.

    In relation to the positive reviews - I don't doubt you may have had a good experience but this place has a new owner. It changed hands around August last year. You will be highly disappointed if you use this hairdresser now.

      Has your sister been to the salon I have been going to the salon for the last 3years never had a problem the salon has only senior stylist and they share the customers they work as a team keep up the good work guys the only people that have complained have been voucher customers that pay $69 for foils color and cut wash and treatment a small number of you expect the world for $69 there has not been a problem with normal paying customers.

      Severi - having a voucher you donâ??t expect the world, but if a facility is going to over its services to you as stated you would expect it to be of the same standard of what full paying clients are paying for - isnâ??t the aim of vouchers so that you can experience first hand and then decide whether or not to go back to a facility and pay full price and be an on going and loyal customer?

    I found my experience at this salon intimidating. I purchased a voucher for $59. Included on the voucher was colour, cut and a $30 voucher. When I arrived, I was asked want I wanted. When I asked for foils I was talked out of it and given a semi permanent colour. I was left for over an hour with the colour in my hair. Whilst waiting, another customer came in for appointment. She was told it would be an hour. When questioned, she got rude attitude. While my I was waiting for my treatment, I could hear the staff talking about a customers, using vulgar language. I didn't receive a haircut or voucher and my hair colour is the same colour it was before attending. The blow dry was so close to my head. When I arrived home I realised that I had hair dye all over my hairline and ears. Overall I found the experience unpleasant. The staff were rude, it was rushed and the standard was low. I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it.

    This is by far the WORST hairdressing experience I have ever had. IN MY OPINION DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME MONEY OR BREATH! It was like a comedy of errors and rudeness without actually being funny.....the first staff on reception were rude and gruff on the phone but I thought maybe they were just having a bad day. I got there on time and was shown to my seat. So far, so good. But that was where it stopped. Second staff came over with a scowl, glared at me and said whatdoyouwant. I said just a few foils and a trim. They silently set to work and I asked the first staff for a coffee. It was the cheapest instant coffee but I smiled and said thank you. The second staff dropped then their brush on the ground and it fell under my seat. They then hunched under my seat and expletives flowed from their mouth. They tried to stand up and hit their head off the side. It was all a bit odd, I jumped out of my seat to retrieve their brush. They then started to pin my hair up. One of the clips fell into my coffee. I fished it out and said not to worry. The third staff picked up the cup to bring it into the kitchen. At which point the first staff asked aggressively at me from the other side of the room IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THAT. At this point, all I wanted to do was leave. The second staff SEVEN times said I should buy a more expensive conditioning treatment than I had planned to. Hard selling puts me off.

    The colour is not what I wanted, I wanted blonde and now I have a disgusting ginger section at the top of my head and have booked another hairdresser to FIX THE MESS that is on my head.....
    In summary, disgraceful customer service, bad colour and now I have to pay to go to another hairdresser to fix the mess that they have made. Please save your money and go elsewhere!!!

    Never use this salon. They are so rude. I had a voucher from Cudo and had to cancel due to family illness. Was booked in for Saturday the 17th March and phoned today the 14th March to Cancel and they have advised that the voucher would be forfited even though on the terms and conditions of the voucher say that bookings cancelled within 24 Hours are forfited. Not happy and would never use this hairdresser
