Haven't been here in years, probably because they are really dropping their standards and the last time I went I really noticed this.
Service was slow, friends all ordered milkshakes and I, a caesar salad to which my salad arrived before the milkshakes??
The salad was really NOT what you could remotely call a caesar salad. They used iceberg lettuce (not cos), grated tasty cheese (like the kind you buy in a bag), whole fried rashers of bacon which were dripping grease sitting on top of the whole thing and the egg on top was fried (not poached) accompanied with fried pieces of bread for croutons.....it was a heart attack waiting to happen!
Haven't been back since, there are simply much better 50's themed restaurants around now and Highpoint itself (since the renos in early 2000s) has a throng of better, newer restaurants.
