Went last night for dinner and a few beers. The New York steak is a bit exxy at $40, it comes with plain broccoli and mash and gravy. Our waitress was visibly miserable. Other than that, was a good experience as a first timer.

MY second visit here after my second Australian Surf Life Saving Titles finished up on the Sunday. The waiters and waitresses are professional and lovely. They know great custoimer service and they represemt the Hard Rock franchise as genuine and believable people. The New York steaks are fab, they go down well with a pomegranate martini! Really enjoyed dinner here and if you are having a function or get-together or end of season wrap up of some sort, they do a great job!

I always look forward to a Hard Rock visit!! I love the Heavy Metal sauce soooooo much!! Its a massive shame that the Sydney Hard Rock closed down :( The staff at Surfers HR are always friendly and the food is consistently good - the bartenders love the chance to whip you up a 'suprise cocktail' which is always welcome!!

I was home sick and was in high hopes of finding some real American food. The staff was friendly though with out a reservation you will be waiting for at-least 30 minutes. After a long wait for our appetizers i have to say i was genuinely disappointed. Though given American names, they were little more than aussie dishes reshaped. The chicken strips were just chicken nuggets, the potato skins were soggy and unflavourful, and the sauces were the run of the mill Australian tomato sauce. Very disappointing Wouldn't of been so bad i suppose if i wasn't paying nearly 30 bucks a person for simple microwaveable meals.

Really cool place. Great size meals, and really tasty too. Can get very noisy at night, but it is the "Hard Rock Cafe" afterall. Love it!

My partner and I visited this place on our holiday to Surfers Paradise. You can't go wrong here when you order a cheeseburger. The staff were very friendly except one who refused to sit us in a booth because they prefer to save the booths for family which was fair enough. About 20 minutes after we sat down, I noticed they offered a booth to a couple then again they seated another couple in a booth. I was confused as to why we didn't get to sit on one. Not that it really matters but I felt that they lied to us which makes me not want to go to this place again. They didn't have a very nice face on them anyway.

Went here with my partner on our recent holiday to surfers and had THE BEST night out we have had in years.
Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly, cocktails were amazing and we couldn't get over what a friendly atmosphere the place had.
Ended up staying till late to hear the bands play and by the end of the night had made friends with so many of the regulars.
    Top Night!

Hard Rock Cafe in Surfers Paradise is a fun restaurant, whether it be as a young couple or with children. Plenty of memorabilia to view, opening "remember when" conversations witht those old enough to remember, or being able to bore your kids with facts about bands and artists who were famous before their time! In warmer weather, it is enjoyable to sit out on the deck. Less noisy there too if you are looking for somewhere quieter to eat. My children enjoyed the concept of bottomless milkshakes, although quickly realised there is nothing more filling to drink! Food was great, although definitely enough of a serving to share with a friend.

Pretty good food but was a bit slow with bringing it out. Although it was a good atmosphere with all the memrobilia to look at before, during and after your dining experience

We went here a couple of times in a recent trip to Surfers in May 2008. The service, food and atmosphere were great. A diverse soundtrack plays in the background that adds to the atmosphere.
Another review here warned against families coming here, to which I couldn't disagree more. Yes, there are "youths" that work and eat there, but it's very friendly. Treat your kids to some real music and nice food.
