    New to Brisbane I put my car in at Harry's based on the review below. It seemed like they were good and that they knew what they were doing. $600 later when I finally got my car back there was a strange noise but I assumed it was just the fan belt.

    Three weeks later - whenever I would brake, the whole entire car would shudder. So i took it back to Harrys. They said they looked over the whole entire thing and it was just the engine mountings and it was nothing dangerous to worry about.

    The next couple of days the shudder started getting worse. So I took it to a different mechanic that my boss recommended. This mechanic said a poor job had been done on the brakes and that the right calliper was only just hanging on by a bolt. He also said if I had of left it much longer the calliper could have come off and fallen into the wheel.

    I have lodged a formal complaint with fairtrade Australia. I just hope nothing like this happens to anyone else.

    Wow, what can I say? Harry's Auto exceeded any expectations I ever had in an car mechanic workshop. They're cheap, efficient, very fast and in my opinion are better than any other workshops I've been to.

    I had some issues with my Soarer, and they gladly got the problem sorted (even though it was an electrical problem with my alternator). They arranged for an auto-electrician to look at my car, and then found out my alternator was completely gone. They took a 1JZ alternator and converted it to a 2JZ alternator by replacing the electrics and pulley and it worked amazing well.

    I recommend this business to anyone who wants their car fixed properly, and mechanics that actually care about you and your business. Harry is a really nice guy as well, but there are other mechanics there who are just as nice.
