Life is DamnThirstWork...quench it with Hektor Woodley
Hektor Woodleys is a fun & cosy venue that certainly deserves some attention. Hektor Woodleys is discreetly tucked in off Victoria St [opposite Ikea - kind of under the Skipping Girl] away from the lime lights of Bridge Rd or Brunswick St.
Inside this charming bluestone heritage listed building that dates back to when Moses was in short trousers, you'll discover a cafe and a cafe team that oozes a comfort and confidence that keeps both the surrounding weekday corporates & the weekend brekkie warriors coming back. You'll also discover the remnants of a striking Tassie oak tree polished to perfection for the bar, comfy leather booths, long hard wood tables for groups & the mandatory communal bench [also Tassie oak].
Launch in January by owner operators Simon Bartlett & Jason Pitt under the company name guise of DamnThirstyWork P/L, Hektor Woodleys is ready to play host to the manic weekend breakfast & lunch crowd.
