Recently stayed in the Hilton and the rooms clean and tidy. The view over Sydney at night was great. As I flew into Sydney, the Hilton is across the road from the train station. It is central to most of Sydney city.
I stayed here for my birthday and the service was excellent. There was a tv in the shower which was a little odd but quite luxurious. On the down side, I found it very noisy at night... Even though we on a higher level, the noise on the street seemed to travel all the way up to us. Overall great service, but a noisy location.
Booked an Exective Room but nothing special. Small room, not great view and tiny bathroom. Tried to get in Exective Club Lounge but we were advised no room for us. The person at the door gave us a seemingly fake smile and just told us to go to another bar downstairs. We overheard how they were annoyed with people keep coming to the lounge. Come on, we paid extra to get an access to the lounge. Never go back there again for sure.
Stayed there for one night. Quite unimpressed! The room was a dirty, the cupboards didn't open properly and there was a porn movie in the DVD player! While I'm sure this may have been a 'unique' situation, we mentioned it to them in our feedback and never heard anything back. Considering the price it costs for one night, surely these things should be looked after.
