    This is a pleasent enough hotel in a nice location with lovely views and right in the heart of The Rocks There are plenty of places to eat but not much in the way of shopping close by. The hotel is easy to get to. The staff are also nice.

    However, the restaurant was closed on the nights I stayed and you were directed to the bar for meals. I did have room service for dinner though and the food was reasonable. Breakfast was ok. The hotel (rooms, decor etc) is looking a bit old and tired and the place could really use a refurbishment. However, the price was reasonable for Sydney which compensates. I was travelling alone on business so it was ok but I would not recommend it as a nice hotel for a romantic weekend or similar.

    This is a fantastic little place... extremely popular with European tourists, and a great location in the rocks. Don't let the Holiday Inn brand scare you... this is a highly rated hotel with prices to match! They have a small rooftop pool with amazing views, and the hotel is superbly located for first time Sydney tourists.
