Huon Bush Retreats provides self-contained accommodation, tepees and a campground at Ranelagh, near Huonville, southern Tasmania. A true retreat, the property is a private hideaway nestled in the Huon Valley.Modern studio cabins can accommodate two to five guests and are appointed with a queen-size bed and fold-away double bed. Cabins are open-plan with covered deck and an outdoor bath. Utilise the fully-equipped kitchen or have in-house chef, Michael, prepare a delicious meal using organic and local ingredients. Two-bedroom cabins can accommodate four to nine guests. The tipees are ideal for couples, constructed with timber and canvas on the edge of natural bushland. Each tepee has a queen-size sofa bed and cosy wood heater. There is a luxury campground suitable for campervans and tents. Amenities include showers, outdoor bath and well-equipped camp kitchen including an open fire. Our 5 kilometre network of walking tracks takes you to majestic towering old-growth forests, velvety  moss-clad rainforest streams and stunning panorama of radiant wattle blossom in spring. Relax in your steaming outdoor bath with a glass of cool-climate Tasmanian wine.The Huon Valley is 30-minutes’ drive (50 kilometres/31 miles) south of Hobart.
