    This place is pretty awesome you have to wait a while even if you have a booking which is understandable because they are so busy.. but it is definetly worth the wait the ribs are beautiful, service is a little bit frantic but an overall good night out

    Simply the best Ribs in the world, bar none. It's awesome, the only drawback is that even on weekdays you have to make sure you have a booking as it's so packed! Walk in waits can be up to 45mins, but otherwise if my weight wasn't an issue I would eat here nearly every day - or where ever possible.I always have the full rack Pork ribs, but sometimes I am happy to try the half rack and chicken. Good selection on wines too.

    Traditionally famous for the rack of ribs, Hurricanes is always super packed because it is super good! Being a steakhouse you can obviously expect an array of different shapes and sizes when it comes to your steak. Whether it be the 200gm Sirloin or a 1kg rump, Hurricanes do have a way of making it more tender and juicy than most other steak houses. You will usually have to wait to be seated, however Hurricanes has provided for this with a bar that can be enjoyed beforehand. For dinner, I highly recommend you choose the pork ribs which will set you back about $36. You will be dressed in a paper bib by the waiter, which will allow you to get stuck in without getting the famous rib sauce all over your threads and you will also be given a towel to wipe yourself down afterwards. If you are not a fan of red meat, the menu also caters with seafood, chicken and salad. A true eating experience.

    Ribs are OK but price is too high for this kind of pub style food! Portions are large but I say quality not quantity! Bring down the serving size and increase the quality is my advice.

    Hurricane's Grill serves generous quantities of meat for matching prices (~$30 for a manageable half rack). Unfortunately the culinary expertise of the restaurant does not venture further than the barbecue. The ambiance of the restaurant is modern and clean although not very well lain out - if you get the wrong seats, there are a lot of tight spaces to get through on the way to the bathroom. On the two occasions I've been there I have only gone for the ribs - and I wouldn't consider anything else if I were to return. Last time I visited, I found the meat to be very fatty and could have done with a salad with vinaigrette to cut through it (which does not feature on the ribs dish).
    The service was nothing too awful - getting and paying the bill was a bit challenging considering I was with a party of 15 - but I have no further complaints.
    I will return to Hurricane's but only for the novelty of the big dishes or an eating challenge.
