Have always had positive experiences coming here for dinner with friends or guests. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the food has usually what you expect from Hurricanes. Not the best but close to being so, never been disappointed. Only complaint I have is when it's busy, it can be difficult to get service. Other than that, quite pleased.

One of my favourite places to dine in. Although sometimes the food has been a let down, it has been much better last time I went! The meat was cooked well, the portions were generous, and the staff were attentive.

I've been a long time fan of Hurricane's Express in Bondi, but this was my first time at the restaurant in Top Ryde. The food was comparable and very good. The rib meat fell off the bone and was saucy and great. The chips are moorish and the waitstaff were friendly and polite. We had a great bottle of red with the ribs / steaks (we were a party of 7) and had a great lunch.

Great dinner last Saturday night. Very glad that I booked as the place was absolutely packed. The ribs were to die for! Really busy and had to wait for a short time for a table but the food was worth it. Very courteous and capable staff with such a loud Saturday night crowd

overpriced and incredibly long waits. even for the bill which came out wrong! if you want to be kept waiting this is the place to be.

Pretty much the same experience as the other hurricanes stores but this one seems to have a larger capacity. However still expect to wait over 20mins for a table! They only take bookings up to a certain capacity and they usually fills up for bookings the day before. The food was tasty but I was shocked at how expensive it was! Expect to pay around $40 per person for mains- and $14 for dessert! And drinks and so forth and you really could have gone to a fancier place... Nevertheless- it's good if you want a meat kick! Parking at TopRyde is free after 6pm, so keep that in mind if you are planning a dinner and movie night :)

I wasn't impressed. To sum it up its too overpriced and the steak & chips that cost $35 is tasteless, dry and sauce is $3 extra. The $10 ice-cream is small. I've had more taste from a fast food meal.

Went here the other night and was not impressed. Was easy enough to make a booking a few days ahead of time. I had rump which cost about $35, but thats pretty much what i got steak and a few chips, and to top it off the rump was dry and overcooked. My friend had the ribs which were tasty but nothing special and again just came with a few chips. These meals could have used a bit of salad on the side. We finished our meals and 20 mins late were still not offered the dessert menu but instead handed out bill, as if they wanted us to leave. All in all not a nice night out food was slightly overpriced and felt as though we were kicked out

They've replicated what they've done in the other Hurricane's restaurants at Top Ryde. Decor is great and the food tastes the same.

I've only ever ordered the pork ribs which is great if you feel like a good dose of meat. The ribs are tasty but really aren't anything special. I'm definitely not bagging Hurricane's, but it leans more toward quantity than quality.

The restaurant is pretty big but it still manages to draw a crowd which results in a long line of people if you get here past 6:30pm in the evening on weekends. Great spot to have a meal with friends (they have bigger tables as well as smaller ones), but it does get pretty noisy if you sit indoors.
