The famous Bondi Beach Icebergs, where Sydney-siders come for their early morning swim in the salt pool, is now home to one of Australia's most famous restaurants.  This is international dining at its best led by a talented team - matched with the Worlds best view, facing north up Bondi Beach.

The restaurant also features a relaxed bar which is ideal for watching waves and taking in the cool Pacific Ocean breeze.

We are open for Lunch from 12.00 noon and dinner from 6.30 p.m. Tueday - Sunday.

Reservations are recommended and valet parking is available.

    We went to the downstairs bar for a drink and the views. The place was packed but it had a great atmopshere. If you're visiting this is great place to while away a couple of hours.

    I have spent many birthdays at Icebergs and have always been impressed with the food and service, it is on the pricey side hence the reason I only go there for special events.

    This is a very cool place to either dine or have a drink. Every time I've been there some celebrity is lurking about. And the rest of the people are usually pretty cool. Food is very good and the view is worldly unique. A bit expensive but you have to expect that.

    Icebergs is the best place to take non-Sydneysiders to pretty much sum up Sydney during the course of one lunch. The interiors and more particularly the exterior view is amazing, flashy and sleek. The crowd is "beautiful", over-dressed and extraverted. The waiters are models who look unlikely to have ever tried the food judging by their waistsizes. The meals are expensive and bite-size. But the overall feel is that the place values looks over substance.

    Maybe it was the inability of the waiters to place meals in the correct locations or deliver glasses of wine because "they forgot"; or the inadequate nightclub-style after-thought toilets that makes you question whether this is fine dining or just a fine view at fine-dining price tag. And call me a little old-fashioned but I really prefer my waiters to be able to speak English. It is cute and "authentic" to have French waiters but when you can't understand a word they say it is tres naff.

    Icebergs is best enjoyed with a great group of friends who are content to enjoy lots of laughs and a great view...particularly if one of them pulls out the Platinum Amex and pays for your "Sydney experience".

    On a beautiful sunny day nothing can beat the view from Icebergs as you enjoy a delicious seafood lunch. Last weekend, with the sun shining, and with friends visiting from Melbourne, we thought Icebergs would be the perfect venue to showcase Sydney's fresh seafood and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff and enjoyed a glass of Veuve before being shown to the the perfect window seat. The menu is kind of daunting and it was a bit hard to understand our French waiter as she worked her way through the oyster and other entree specials and the 5 different fresh fish options, but we managed. The gnocci special entree was melt in your mouth spectacular, as was the squid ink risotto. We all selected a different fresh fish for our main course and enjoyed side orders of fries, mashed potato, peas and beans. For dessert we shared a couple of tasty raspberry tarts. There was also an excellent selection of white and red wines to enjoy with our meal. We did venture outside on the balcony for a coffee after we'd eaten and that's where the service was disappointing as we were forgotten about. We would have even racked up a larger bill but no-one came to take our order so we called it a day. Overall the Iceberg dining experience was great and I highly recommend it for special occasions.

    the only good thing about icebergs is the view. I went for a few cocktails two weekends ago. The female bar staff were not friendly, welcoming or could even crack a smile. Giving of a pretentious vibe about the place. For an $18 cocktail (expensive) it tasted like a glass of solo with some alcohol in it. This place doesn't deliver on service or quality or value for money. Go somewhere else!

    With a view over one of the world's most famous beaches Icebergs is a fantastic place to sit and enjoy life while having a quiet drink. I haven't eaten there before except at functions but having had a quick glance at the menu there are some interesting things on there well worthwhile.

    I'd looked forward to dining at the Icebergs since it opened. What a disapointment. Yes, the view is stunning, atmosphere is amazing with candles everywhere. But the service was just awful. I had to take my drink back 3 times as it was wrong. We had to continuously ask where our drinks were. But after the bar, the restaurant service was better. The meat my friends ordered was the best they'd ever tried. But my fish was dry and tasteless. Very, VERY expensive night out as well.
