Indian Wave restaurant serves a range of authentic, flavoursome cuisines. It is located in close proximity to Mooroolbark station, making it a convenient place to stop in for a tasty meal. Indian Wave offers fresh food of consistently good quality, including a range of curries and classic dishes. The friendly staff will ensure you a pleasant dining experience. 
Lunch is available from 11am until 2:30pm and dinner from 5pm daily.

    What a great place to get takeaway Indian! We get this once a week, usually. The Butter chicken is superb and the garlic naan is amazing. Try this place!

    The service was wonderful, the man who runs the shop was really helpful. I also have food intolerances, and he told me he could cook whichever meal I wanted without certain things in it- very helpful & appreciated!
    The butter chicken is amazing, definitely recommend the place for great takeaway- although I agree with the other comment, it isn't a place to have a sit down dinner- but great takeaway!

    After eating at Namaste, Carlton and Saffron Cottage in in Tecoma, there simply isn't any reason to give Indian Wave a 5. Namaste is cheaper, has authentic flavors and is simply better in every way. The butter chicken at Indian Wave is the traditional can of tomato soup with spices, the meat in the other dishes hadn't captured the flavor of the dish and in one case was fat with particles of meat attached. Please don't expect anything better. If you enjoy a decent Indian, please go somewhere else.

    This really is the best Indian food around! I go there at least once a week its that good. Can't go past the butter chicken but all the dishes I've had are beautiful and full of flavour. And dinner packs (meat and rice with papadums) for $5.50 (small) or $7.50 (large) are unbelievably affordable! Do yourself a favour and check it out!

    This place is excellent. I went there tonight for dinner I had the butter chicken and rice. My second time. The man who works there is really friendly and he offered me the meal free one night but I insisted to pay for it. Good prices and you get good quality food, the flavours are amazing. You can see him cooking it at the back. Great customer service. I would recommend anyone to eat Indian food here. :)

    I have travelled to India many times, and eaten at a great variety of Indian restaurants, but I am so glad that this little cafe has opened so near to me, and I can easily go there often. The food is simply delicious, the staff so welcoming, and the prices so affordable. Also, it is open every day ,and is quick to prepare and present its tasty offerings.

    Absolutely excellent restaurant.
    For what you pay, you are spoilt rotten with flavours, not to mention the portion size is so fantastic. My boyfriend who has eaten indian all over the world has fallen head over heels for Indian Wave. ALWAYS 100% friendly, and really cares about pleasing his customers. Recommended with flying colours.

    i had dinner here tonight; it was beautiful. the man who served me was very friendly and offered me the second dish free but i insisted and i paid him. i had this lovely vegetarian rice and this cheese dish in a sauce. it was amazing and theres a lot of choice for vegetarians :)
    it was my first indian experience.

    I have never been a fan of Indian food until I went here. I am the biggest fan now. The staff are the friendliest people you could ever meet and the food is outstanding. The prices are perfect, but the food is what stands out and makes you come back for more. Everything is fresh and has a brilliant taste and quality. You will not be disappointed when you try their food.

    I have walked past the shop a number of times - tonight I walked in. The food I had was excellent. Value for money - and service that unbelivable. Let me go back to food - fresh fast and lots of it. Tonight I had the dinner pack $5.50 with a serving of chicken tikka. Delicious generous serve. Will definately be recommending this to my friends. And I will be there again!!! Great food!!

    Excellent indian food. Great range of vegetarian dishes. Very friendly staff, always chatting to customers and happy to see you. Portion sizes good and reasonably priced. Can eat in or take away, no delivery service, but well worth the drive. Give it a try, you'll go back a second time and maybe a third and a forth too.
