We are in the middle of a construction with instyle. We signed a contract and paid a deposit in July 2011. We have an unfinished concrete shell in the ground. This week the company requested the next instalment, prior to the plastering which was scheduled to occur on Monday, which was paid, only to be told after that that the job had been" bumped " into the new year.

We are not unreasonable people but the ethics of this company are appalling. The is no communication. We have had to chase them up at every stage. The Consultant we were allocated rarely turned and when did was unannounced meaning we had to arrange someone to come home to let trades in. Elements of the pool such as the soak well and upgraded skimmer box were not installed.

On a positive note, the subbies were a friendly and reliable bunch and I have no problem with the quality of work they provided thus far. Still waiting to meet the electrician and plasterers though.

Instyle are a small cog of a larger conglomerate. Beware.

I would also like to say that after building a new home and dealing with several trades during this time.....my experience with Aqualeisure has been exemplary , all of the personnel you have working for you (at least those who worked on our pool have been polite and offered very professional services.
Last night (after acid wash and full of water) while getting the soil ready for new lawn I had the pool light on for the 1st time ...stood back and went wow LOOKS GREAT ! bit like what you see in the magazines ha ha

As I say the work to this point and the trade professionals have been tremendous. Your co-ordination and communication to me has been superb.
Without your efforts I dare say much of this experience might have been somewhat different :)

May I say it is VERY REFRESHING to deal with a company as professional and personable as yours.
When I get a chance I will certainly be forwarding a formal acknowledgement to the company management of our experiences.

I regret using Instyle Pools and would not recommend them to anyone
Deposit paid November 2008, handover finally happened January 11th 2010, but we were still not happy with the standard of work. We felt the customer service was very poor and that there were numerous defects in the work.

When the pool was finally filled with water, the water feature leaked, all four pool lights leaked and the pool itself was dropping 30-40mm a day due to a fractured pipe.

Instyle offered a deduction from the bill for clean up of the header tiles, and then a month later denied it and added it back to the bill, despite us having written evidence. They are very efficient at sending out invoices and demands for money. They invoiced us for handover in May 2009, before the pool was even rendered, and sent overdue account statements monthly from that point on.

While Instyle rectified all the leaks, the paving was uneven, the corner header tile was jagged, and there are still concrete splashes on the patio. I had the paving redone properly by someone else. Instyle Pools is a division of Aquatic Leisure Technolgies.
