I hadn't stayed at this hotel since it was the Grand Hyatt 20 years ago. I'm glad to say the rooms have been upgraded however there are still many tell tail signs of the hotel of old. Whilst the bedding and furniture is up to date the tv, air conditioning, telephones and tiles in the bathroom are circa 1985 and not quite up to five star standard.
The staff are friendly and efficient, the room service menu as 5 star should be and it's in a quiet and central location. -

Since they have upgraded the rooms quite a few years ago, have stayed there on a special deal they always have, although now it has become expensive, nice rooms, good thing is that the bathrooms have seperate shower and bath, and quite large! with your lucky enough to have a high floor room you will get great views of either the city or adelaide oval, try the buffet dinner, prawns, seaford, eat to your hearts content although quite pricey, great for a special occasion
