When Ippudo first opened in Pitt St the line was never ending, and it still is packed out. Very tasty ramen, totally understand why this place is so popular. Nice interior too - less shopping centre and more restauranty. Except for the music - loud blaring top 40s tracks, far too similar to the shopping centre and its noisy retail outlets. Something a bit more bearable would be appreciated while enjoying a nice meal.
Great service and delicious ramen! I particularly enjoyed the Karakamen, with the spicy pork miso providing a nice flavour kick. The Ebi Avacado Delight was also great, with the wasabi mayo perfectly complementing the avacado and prawns with an intense wasabi freshness.
I consider this one of Sydney's newer ramen joints but in reality it has now been open a good couple of years. It certainly ranks among the top tier options and certainly wins on decor and ambiance.
