    Fantastic food served by the staff with incredibly haughty attitude. In Hobart I will eat elsewhere, good food is everywhere.

    Believe the hype! This bustling bakery is ranked very highly on many sites. Whilst in Hobart I had to check it out! OMG! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a vast display of breads, tarts, cakes, pastries, pies...the options are endless, and my oh my, everything looks large, tasty, casually presented & so tempting! Breakfast of champions! We were swiftly ushered off to our table in the corner & handed our menu's. The menu was large(ish) with quite a few specials listed on the blackboards. I ordered a goats cheese tart & pie. YUM! intense flavours, delicate textures, flaky pastry...WOW! We followed this up with a lamington. It was big, it was tender, tasty, covered in thick yummy chocolate & tasty jam! They were slow bringing our drinks & then forgot some from our order. When we queried it we were briskly told "I'm not your waitress!" So, the service...not so good! This deteriorated further. My wife was "spoken" to by staff for being in the way when she was trying to put shoes on my son. Soon after she was "bumped" by a waitress. Then when it came to paying, there was a flurry of button pushing but no confirmation of orders = we couldnt see if we were charged for the drinks we didnt get OR double charged for some we eventually got. Still - you dont go to a bakery for good service & this place DOES deliver on the food.

    OMG Yum! Amazing meat and vego options. Always fresh, quality produce and a great customer service manor that can sometimes be lacking in lil 'old Hobart. The soup of the day always impresses and great coffee standard!
